Role: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Luton
Shifts: 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights)
Salary: £52,000 - £57,000 + Overtime

The Company:
My Client are a well established manufacturing company that have been trading for over 75 years and due to continued growth of the site are looking to add a skilled Maintenance Engineer to their talented team! They are able to provide the right candidate with fantastic training and progression opportunities as they have put engineers through PLC courses, Electrical and Management training as they always seek to upskill engineers and promote them from within. The Role:
The role of Maintenance Engineer will include the following:
- Fault Finding on Automated PLC driven machinery including: Conveyors, Mixers, Presses, Packaging machinery and Robotics
- Working electrically with: Invertors, Sensors, Relays, 3 Phase Motors, Contactors, Switches
- Mechanically working with: Pneumatic systems, Rollers, Belts, Bearings, Chains, Sprockets
- Working with PLCs to Fault Find to Input Output Level as a minimum (They have access to their code so Fault Finding through Ladder Logic is possible too)
- Working on CI Projects with a slick process from an idea to implementation of the project
The Candidate
The Right candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will be
- A Qualified Maintenance Engineer with Experience working within a factory setting
- Be Confident fault finding electrically and swapping like for like
- Experience working with automated machinery
- Be pro-active and be able to complete PPMs efficiently
- Have a track record of making improvements to machinery
- Be happy working within a team or alone
