Role: Maintenance Engineer

Shifts: Variation of 3 Shift (Earlies, Lates and Nights with Reduced hours during summer)

Salary: £43,500 + Overtime (1.5X/2.0X) ((OTE of £47,000+)

Location: Milton Keynes

The Company:

My Client who ATA are currently actively recruiting for are a well recognised global brand that have multiple sites across the UK and around the world. The business has been doing extremely well with a turnover in the UK over £50bn giving this role fantastic stability and longevity. This site has been in operation since the 1960s so can offer the right engineer a long term career with progression opportunities!

They’ve also send their Engineers on various training courses before, with the Engineers currently undertaking welding courses but in the past they have upskilled their team with NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualifications fully paid for by the company!

This site is the sole site in the UK Manufacturing their unique and specialised product and they are Market Leaders within this industry . As Market Leaders, they have been investing heavily in this site and have nearly £2m of guaranteed CAPEX over the next 5 years per year so expect heavy investment in brand new machinery with the latest automation on the market.

The Role:

The Role of Maintenance Engineer will include the following responsibilities:

  • Breakdown Maintenance on Various Automated Manufacturing Machinery
  • Planned Maintenance on all Machinery on site with the use of a slick Customised CMMS System
  • CI Projects aimed at increasing the output of the machinery
  • Mechanical work on: Bearings, Pulleys, Shafts, Gearboxes, Belts, Rollers, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems
  • Electrically working with/in: Control Panels, 3 Phase, Sensors, Relays, Contactors, Invertors

The Candidate

The right candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will have/be:

  • Experience working within Maintenance Engineering
  • Be Pro-Active and look for areas of Improvement
  • Happy working alone or within a team
  • Willing to take on training aimed at upskilling your abilities
  • Be Computer literate
