Maintenance Engineer

7am - 4pm Monday - Friday

I am recruiting exclusively for a key manufacturing client based in Isle of Man. They offer the finest beef, lamb and pork, working closely with island producers, butchers and retailers to build in quality from pasture to plate.. They are looking for Maintenance Engineer, to assist with general maintenance work covering the whole plant and varied complex machinery.
As Maintenance Engineer, you will require to conduct the following duties:
v Reactive maintenance with PPM in between, on mechanical machinery, high pressure boilers, pumps, valves, weighers, Vac Sealer, Conveyors, mincing machines, Portioners, Hydraulic Presses,Labelling Machine, Industrial Pressure Washer.
v Fixing fast paced industrial production machinery including but not limited to gears /motors / conveyors / bearings etc
v Working safely and make recommendations for improvements
As Maintenance Engineer you will need to have the following attributes:
v Mechanical engineering apprenticeship time served C&G L3 or qualified to NVQ L3
v Good experience with LEAN and Continuous Improvement principles
v Working to high levels of Health and Safety
v Able to work autonomously, with a ‘right first time’ mentality
v Experience within general fast paced manufacturing production environments
v Strong communication and interpersonal skills working alongside production staff and technical manager
v Provide your own tools
