Maintenance Engineer, Based in Spalding, Earning £49,500, Working Panama 2s and 3s Days and Nights

Our client has been operating for a period of over 30 years and in this time the company has grown exponentially, to a level in which that the firm has won numerous awards for the quality and standard of the products they have produced. Furthermore, to illustrate this exponential growth the turnover has grown to above £2 Billion. In turn allowing the business to reinvest into the sites they currently operate, alongside their engineering team with further qualifications and new state of the art machinery.

Therefore, this is an exciting opportunity for an engineer to join a business with a mind for the future, a stable and growing business in which to thrive within. While also having the ability to undertake further qualifications and receive fantastic training on new machinery.

The Role

During your time as the maintenance engineer on site, you will be expected to work on a variety of machinery as detailed below. The work you will be carrying out during your time will be an equal split of electrical and mechanical work. Therefore, as the maintenance engineer onsite, you will be responsible for:

  • Completing ppm’s, reacting to breakdowns, and completing remedial repair work across a busy manufacturing site.
  • Hands on the work will be more electrical than mechanical.
  • You will need to be confident fault finding using a Multimeter.
  • Working on 3 phase equipment (415v), conveyors, packaging lines, and bespoke machinery specific to this site.
  • Fault finding on automated machinery, this would be through various methods, including through PLCs.

The Engineer

To be considered for this Maintenance Engineer opportunity, you should have:

  • Experience working within a factory environment.
  • Must have a Level 3 Engineering Qualification
  • Must have experience with Fault Finding on 3 Phase Machinery.
