Maintenance Engineer based in Wisbech, Working 4 on 4 off Days, Earning £50,000 + OT

The Company

Here at ATA, we are excited to be bringing you an opportunity working for a nationally recognised manufacturer, based at their well-established site in Wisbech working as a maintenance engineer in the engineering team.

As well as our client being a market leading manufacturer, at their Wisbech site alone they currently employ over 450 people on just the one site. Which illustrates how the company has grown from strength to strength, highlighted by the turnover of the company growing to over £2 Billion. This can be attributed to the fact that our client is a supplier to all the large supermarkets across the country, emphasizing the stability of the business within the manufacturing sector.

As well as this, as our client has been growing at an exponential rate, this has allowed the business to reinvest the profits back into the engineering function with newer machinery and bigger projects, as well as further qualifications for engineers. Therefore, this is an exciting opportunity for an engineer to join a well-established business with opportunity to also develop further as a maintenance engineer.

The Role

During your time as the maintenance engineer on site, you will be expected to carry out maintenance on a variety of machinery as detailed below. The work you will be carrying out during your time will be an equal split of electrical and mechanical work. Therefore, as the maintenance engineer onsite, you will be responsible for:

  • Completing ppm’s,
  • Reacting to breakdowns,
  • Completing remedial repair work across a busy manufacturing site.
  • Working on 3 phase equipment (415v), conveyors, packaging lines, and bespoke machinery specific to this site.
  • Fault finding on automated machinery, this would be through various methods, including through PLCs.

The Engineer

To be considered for this Maintenance Engineer opportunity, you should have:

  • Experience working within a factory environment.
  • Must have a Level 3 Engineering Qualification
  • Must have experience with Fault Finding on 3 Phase Machinery.
