This recent success has meant the business has been able to reinvest their profits in new plant, the latest automation as well as the training and development of their staff. As demand continues to increase so does the size of the engineering function, as a result there is a need to add another maintenance engineer to the team.
As a maintenance engineer you will be working on a wide range of equipment, including, ovens, conveyors, weighing equipment, vibratory conveyors, and packaging machinery.
You can expect to be:
- Split 50/50 mechanically and electrically
- Mechanically you will be working on pneumatics, hydraulics, gear boxes, bearings, belts etc
- You will be electrically fault finding on panels and VSD drives, changing sensors, switches, wiring up motors
- Weekdays will be predominantly reactive work
- PPM’s typically are at weekends
The ideal maintenance engineer will need:
A level 3 qualification (mechanical or electrical)
Experience working in an automated environment
Keen to develop new skills
The successful maintenance engineer can expect an intensive induction, as well as on going training and development. As the business continues to grow their will be scope to progress either technically or into a management position.
