Maintenance engineer based in Wisbech, working 4 on 4 off Days, Earning £50,000 + OT

Here at ATA, we are excited to be working with our client who is a nationally recognised market leading manufacturer with numerous sites across the UK. The successful engineer for this role will be based at their well-established site in Wisbech.
Our client is a multi-site business with our client having over 30 manufacturing and distribution centres across the UK, creating a turnover during this time north of £2 Billion. Our client has grown this turnover through manufacturing quality products which have won numerous awards across the industry and at the same time have won contracts with the leading supermarkets such as Co op and Asda to sell their products.
Leading on from this, our client has been able to reinvest the profits of the business back into its supply chain, while also investing into its engineering function with newer machinery and brand-new automation at the forefront of engineering. This has given engineers the opportunity to work on the newest machinery in manufacturing, while also improving skills of engineers by providing training on this newly automated machinery. Therefore, this is an exciting opportunity for an engineer to join a well-established business with opportunity to also develop further as a maintenance engineer.
The Role
During your time as the maintenance engineer on site, you will be expected to carry out maintenance on a variety of machinery as detailed below. The work you will be carrying out during your time will be an equal split of electrical and mechanical work. Therefore, as the maintenance engineer onsite, you will be responsible for:
- Completing ppm’s,
- Reacting to breakdowns,
- Completing remedial repair work across a busy manufacturing site.
- Working on 3 phase equipment (415v), conveyors, packaging lines, and bespoke machinery specific to this site.
- Fault finding on automated machinery, this would be through various methods, including through PLCs.
The Engineer
To be considered for this Maintenance Engineer opportunity, you should have:
- Experience working within a factory environment.
- Must have a Level 3 Engineering Qualification
- Must have experience with Fault Finding on 3 Phase Machinery.
