Your Role
Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, as a maintenance engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the ongoing reliability and performance of our production lines. This includes a mix of proactive maintenance and reactive breakdown response across a range of machinery.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Responding to and resolving mechanical and electrical breakdowns
- Assisting with installation and commissioning of new machinery
- Supporting CI (Continuous Improvement) and reliability projects
- Keeping accurate maintenance records using our CMMS system
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety protocols
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)
- Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Strong diagnostic skills in both electrical and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of PLCs, motors, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a focus on safety
