Your Role

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, as a maintenance engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the ongoing reliability and performance of our production lines. This includes a mix of proactive maintenance and reactive breakdown response across a range of machinery.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Responding to and resolving mechanical and electrical breakdowns
  • Assisting with installation and commissioning of new machinery
  • Supporting CI (Continuous Improvement) and reliability projects
  • Keeping accurate maintenance records using our CMMS system
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety protocols

What We’re Looking For

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)
  • Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Strong diagnostic skills in both electrical and mechanical systems
  • Knowledge of PLCs, motors, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a focus on safety
