About the company:
We are currently partnering with a multinational company who have over 35+ sites in the whole of the UK, tending for the hospitality and laundry sector. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to take on a leadership position, with a view of progression into much more senior positions later down the line. The client have a turnover of £370 million and are growing.
Our client is investing a lot into new machinery, as well as acquiring new sites and also building their own new sites. They have a view of adding 4 new sites across the UK and are growing on a multinational scale.
About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Engineer who wants to step into a more senior position whilst still remaining hands on, or an existing Senior Engineer who may fancy a Monday-Friday shift pattern. This role is also perfect for someone who wants to work with some of the most intricate electrical machinery in the market.
Responsibilities will include:
- To ensure that all PPM’s are carried out as per schedule and are accurately recorded.
- To ensure the smooth running of the facility through proactive maintenance and to look after any documentation that may be required.
- To be able to fault-find on a range of automated systems in a fast paced environment.
- Being prepared to be hands on where they may be a shortage of Engineers to finish a job.
- Working on PLC systems – I/O’s
- To drive continuous improvement objectives across the site and to be able to ensure the buy in of Engineers and the general mentoring of them.
The ideal candidate will have an electrical bias.
About you:
To be considered for the Senior Maintenance Engineer position, you should have the following:
- To be confident in guiding all the Engineers, as well as having organisational skills to delegate the job sheets to the Engineers under you.
- Tracking of job completion and documentation.
- Educated to a minimum of a Level 3 in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- To have initiative, as well as leadership skills.
