Our client is an established and leading distributor of finished goods to businesses and consumers across the whole of the UK. Founded over 100 years they operate out of a state-of-the-art automated facility that is able to provide speed of delivery to ensure they maintain their position as the number 1 supplier in their market.
The site now requires a maintenance engineer to keep their site running at maximum capacity.
Role
As a maintenance engineer you will be either mechanically or electrically trained and will have the following responsibilities:
- Reactive maintenance
- Fault finding
- Replacing like for like components
- Working from engineering drawings
Machinery will include but no limited to:
- Conveyor systems
- Packaging machinery
- Totes
- Barcoders
- Cranes
- Air handling units
Candidate
The ideal maintenance engineer will have the following:
- Apprentice trained either electrically or mechanically
- Or level 3 as a minimum
- Any engineering background considered
- Be a team player
- A can-do attitude
