Role: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Haverhill
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Overtime
Shifts: Monday to Friday (Days)

The Company:
Our client are a specialist manufacturing company that have been producing for over 20 years and have 100 unique products that they make and supply to other businesses making this role very secure. They have recently been acquired by another business and as a result there has been a period of heavy investment in this site with plenty of expansion planned, increasing the capacity of manufacturing with brand new machinery being installed, machine upgrades happening and a new state of the art workshop being developed, this is a fantastic time to join a growing company that is going on a journey over the next 5 years. Joining from the ground up will put you as first in line for progression opportunities when they come about. They are currently looking for Electrical and Mechanical bias engineers to join their skilled team!
The Role:
The role of Maintenance Engineer will include the following Responsibilities:
- Reactive and Planned Maintenance on all machinery on site
- Continuous Improvement projects aimed at increasing productivity and the efficiency of the site
- Working an on call rota to ensure any breakdowns that happen during the night are dealt with swiftly
- Working within a team of Engineers that work together and share their knowledge gained.
- Electrically fault finding on Three Phase equipment, Working in panels
- Mechanically working with Pumps, Valves and completing any fabrication/welding work necessary.
The Candidate:
The Right candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will be/have:
- A Recognised Engineering Qualification
- Have either a Mechanical or Electrical Bias
- Experience working in a Factory setting
- Be happy to work an on call rota
- Be Pro-active and find areas of improvement on machinery
