Maintenance engineer – Birmingham
Double days – 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00 – Monday to Friday (2 weeks earlies, 1 week late)
£37,666 + 20 days holiday + OT
The Company
A global sortation and packaging company are looking for a maintenance engineer to join their continuously growing and successful team of over 300 employees. The company operate across numerous sites within the UK alone with a turnover north of £100million. This emphasises their success within their market sector and demonstrates as to why there are so successful. In addition, their growth is evident through several million pounds worth of investments on machinery, within an already very new site.
The role
As a maintenance engineer your role will include:
- Working on fully automated equipment
- Both mechanical and electrical work (slight electrical bias)
- Working as part of a team
- Conducting both reactive and PPM work
- Maintaining health and safety protocols throughout
About you
The ideal maintenance engineer will have:
- A recognised engineering qualification
- Experience working within an automated environment
- Competent working both electrically and mechanically
- A can-do attitude
- The ability to work both individually and as part of a team
- The competency to fault find, electrically
