About the client
ATA are supporting a large precision engineering business at their facility close to Kirkby in Ashfield. The business who supplies their product to some of the world’s largest companies have a healthy order book, predicting to turnover north of £80 million in 2022 which will help them open a new facility in the near future, which will cement their foothold within the market. The continued success of the company has allowed for the growth of the engineering department, and they are now looking to add a maintenance engineer to their team.
About the role
As a maintenance engineer you will work within a large engineering team to ensure the safe and effective running of all plant machinery.
- PPM
- Reacting to breakdowns & remedial repair work
- Completing project work
- Fault finding
- Continuous improvement and root cause analyses
About you
To be considered for a maintenance engineer position with the business, you can be either Electrical or Mechanical bias and can have experience from any industry.
You should have the following:
- Previous experience working as a maintenance engineer within a factory environment.
- Experience working within manufacturing would be beneficial.
- Experience with adhering to safe lock off and tag of procedures.
- Recognised engineering qualification (BTEC, NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, HND).
- Engineers will also be considered if you are recently qualified and have just finished your apprenticeship.
