Maintenance Engineer, £28,000 – 32,000, Leicester, Days only!
Overtime rate 1.3 & 1.5, OTE, 35K, 33 days holiday (Including stat), NEST pension contribution.

ATA are supporting a large industrial manufacturing business who are on the search for an experienced maintenance engineer to join their team. The business who supplies into multiple markets including tier 1 automotive, construction, energy & medical are one of the largest specialist manufacturers of their kind in the UK & have been sitting in the heart of Leicester for nearly 100 years. They are a forward-thinking business and have undergone recent investment on the site with over £2million invested on new machinery & an upgrade to the current facilities. About the role
As a maintenance engineer you will be responsible for completing ppm, reacting to breakdowns and completing remedial repair work in a busy manufacturing environment. This would be on heavy plant machinery, including 3 phase equipment (415v), CNC, heat treatment, pick and place robotic cells, furnaces plus more. You will be responsible for stripping and rebuilding of machinery, welding, fabrication and also be required to look after some of the building’s facilities.
About the engineer
This role would suit a maintenance engineer who is happy to work within a small engineering team in a very hands-on capacity.
- Happy to work within an industrial environment.
- Must possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience.
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Must be able to weld and fabricate.
- Must be proactive and work well with others.
