Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer – M62 corridor (Yorks/NW)
3-6 month contract
£25.00p/h - £30.00p/h DOE/shifts
Mechanical / electrical / automated / 3PL / Site safety
I am recruiting exclusively for a great client of mine with multiple sites across Yorkshire and the North West. They are looking for Maintenance Engineers/Technicians (multi-skilled) for an initial 3-6 months’ contract, to assist with reactive and planned maintenance work, working across varied shift patterns site dependant.
For this position, you will require to conduct the following duties:

Reactive and planned preventative maintenance (both electrically and mechanically)

Fixing automated machinery, conveyors, automatic & retrieval cranes etc
-
Working at heights in high bats etc
The successful person will need to have the following attributes:
-
Good experience with LEAN, 5’s and Continuous Improvement principles
-
Able to work autonomously, with a ‘right first time’ mentality
-
Good customer facing skills
-
Experience within large FMCG/manufacturing/warehousing/logistics environments
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for Health, Safety and Quality within highly regulated environments
The successful person will ideally have the following Qualifications:

Apprentice trained / advanced apprenticeship (NVQ L3) with both electrical and mechanical experience

Passport to safety (SPA) & Working at Heights
