Lead a High-Performing Maintenance Team in a Market-Leading Business

Our client, a well-established and reputable company with over 80 years of industry experience, is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Manager to oversee and develop a highly skilled mechanical maintenance team.

With a strong focus on training and progression, you will have access to industry-leading development programs to enhance both your technical and leadership skills and progress on from the maintenance manager role.

You will be working in a heavy industry environment working on large capital intensive equipment, conveyors, rollers and much more in automated facility.

The Role: Maintenance Manager

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of maintenance engineers to ensure high performance.
  • Coordinate and oversee both reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimize downtime. Organising working contractors for site.
  • Take ownership of continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to site lead and reliability mapping.
  • Ensure health & safety standards and compliance regulations are met.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive a culture of excellence and teamwork.

What We’re Looking For: Maintenance Manager

  • A Level 3 or above engineering qualification.
  • Previous experience in a leadership in Management, supervisor or senior role
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and team management abilities.
  • A positive and adaptable mindset to drive improvements.
