Maintenance Team Leader, Earning £51,500, Based in Melton, Working 4 on 4 off days and nights

We are excited to be working with our client who is amongst one of the leading food manufacturers in the UK and are in their search for a maintenance team leader to join their Leicester site.
The firm has been operating for over 100 years and in that time have created a turnover north of a £billion and expanded to over 20 across the UK. This has added to their growing reputation in the quality of their food, as they have been awarded numerous awards for food quality practises.
Our client currently supplies to the largest retailers in the country and in doing so have continued to reinvest into multiple sites across the country with new high-tech machinery. Therefore, this a great opportunity for an engineer to join a market leading company with the ability to work on the most modern machinery.
The Role
The role consists of management and engineer responsbilities, with around 90% of the role being hands on, and a minor part being hands off. Therefore, as the Maintenance Team Leader onsite, you will be responsible for:
- Day to day management of the team
- Performance management
- Attending meetings (feedback on breakdowns and overview)
- Safety for the role and the site.
- Being hands on.
- Visual on the shopfloor
- Coaching engineers
The Candidate
To be considered for this Maintenance team leader opportunity, you will need:
- Must have a minimum Level 3 Engineering Qualification
- Must have experience with Fault Finding on 3 Phase Machinery.
- To be comfortable working in fast paced environment.
- Also open to engineers who are looking to make that move into management.
