Materials Controller
Southeast UK
6-month contract
Rate: £19.00p/h (PAYE) / £24.28p/h (Ltd. Co.)
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a key client based in Hampshire, who are specialist engineering and project house within the chemical & process industry. They are looking for an experienced Materials Controller on an initial 6-month contract.
The successful Materials Controller will be required to conduct the following duties:
- Manage delivery and liaise with clients
- Maintain equipment logs
- Assist with site monitoring when required
- Operating forklift truck (FLT license essential)
- Attend daily / weekly meetings
- Loading and unloading of materials
- Identify any defect upon delivery and report
The successful Materials Controller will need to have the following attributes:
- Experience in a site engineering / construction environment
- Materials controller / Warehouse management experience
- FLT license (essential)
- CSCS card / site safety passport (essential)
- Hard working, motivated individual
