Mechanical Design Draughtsperson / Detailer
3-month contract
£28.00 - £30.00 p/h DOE

I am recruiting for a key client based in East Yorkshire, who are a recognised UK manufacturing organisation supplying customers worldwide, who operate within a modern and dynamic facility.
My client based in Humberside, due to continual growth and an uplift in sales orders, are looking for a Mechanical Design Draughtsperson to help with the backlog.
For this position, you will require to conduct the following daily duties:
v AutoCAD 2D/MicroStation primarily with the possibility of 3D Solidworks
v Strong appreciation of engineered products for example; rotating equipment, valves, pumps, actuation etc
v Ability to interpret drawings, mark up and change dimensions/text required etc
v Good CAD documentation/BOM experience, ensuring client requirements and quality standards are achieved
v Ideally SAP experience, uploading BOM/drawings etc
v Work with Engineering/ Design leaders to help improve processes and standardisation where possible
The successful person will need to have the following attributes:
v Strong mechanical engineering background, and a keen eye for detail
v 2D Microstation preferably, and happy to work on 2D detailing
v Check work lists, ensuring parts lists and specifications are correct
v A team player, who strives for excellence and strong communicator
