Solidworks Design Engineer – Mechanical / Process / Valves / Pumps
East Yorkshire - 6-month contract
Rates: £25p/h - £30p/h DOE
This global organisation has managed to successfully navigate the issues of the last few months and are now stronger than ever. Following several new project wins, the business is already at capacity and require two Solidworks Design Engineers to help ensure that all projects are completed on time and to budget. The Solidworks Design Engineer will be responsible for the following
- Conversion of 2D drawings on AutoCAD into Microstation
- All pre-engineering is done, solely responsible for producing 3D models
- Models of Valves, pumps, pipework and other process equipment
- Produce Bills of Material in conjunction with the drawings
- Liaise with internal teams
The Solidworks Design Engineer will need to have the following experience:
- Mechanical Design Engineer with Solidworks experience
- Knowledge of a process equipment in particular valves, pumps and pipework
- Mechanical qualification
- Creative ability and good work ethic
