CAD – Solidworks / Inventor
I am currently on the lookout for mechanical design engineers / CAD draughtsman in the Teesside area who are available for work. I am working with several key clients in and around the area who are actively seeking the following:
Duties:
- All aspects of design on Solidworks and or Autodesk Inventor
- Cradle to grave design through the full project lifecycle
- Ensuring design project specifications are met
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders on the project
- Highlight design issues or snagging issues immediately to Project Manager
The successful person will need to have the following attributes:
- Knowledge of fabrications, complex assemblies, and complex general arrangements etc
- Background in design and detailing of bespoke special purpose machinery
- Strong mechanical engineering background w/ electrical knowledge - able to come up with ideas and engineering solutions to problems
- Excellent communications skills with both colleagues and clients
- Motivated with a keen eye for detail
