Our client manufacturers large industrial material handling and processing equipment to clients in construction, manufacturing, shipping, transport, mining and more. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking for a number of Mechanical Assembly Fitters on Temp to Perm contracts.
The role of the Assembly Fitter will include:
- Working in one of the production areas making sub-assemblies for parts of the equipment or building a full machine
- Working from a parts pack which includes all parts required as well as engineering drawings
- Using hand tools, cranes and some hydraulic tooling
- This role can vary from day to day
The successful candidate will come with the following skills and experience:
- Experience in Mechanical Assembly or Mechanical Fitting (ideally within a heavy industrial environment)
- Motivated and enthusiastic to learn and progress when given the opportunity
- Reliable and hardworking
- Commutable to the Coalville area
