This well-established Special Purpose Manufacturer are looking to add to their workforce having won several new projects. The company in the last three years have utilised the increased demand for technologically advanced machinery in several different industries and are winning larger and more exciting projects as time goes on. My client is looking to continue their enviable growth and are looking for a mechanical fitter to join their established business.
Day to day responsibilities of a Mechanical Fitter:
- Assembly of Special Purpose Machinery
- Working from engineering drawings
- Assembling Pneumatic systems
- Using a wide range of hand tools to make precise changes to parts
- Assembly of a wide range of mechanical parts varying in sizes
- Experiences in machine build
- General fabrication skills
My client immediately requires a Mechanical Fitter with experience in the following areas:
- Working from engineering drawings
- Experience of assembling Pneumatics
- Experience in the assembly of mechanical parts
- Hands on practical background
- Ideally an engineering qualification
- Attention to detail
- Proactivity and own initiative
