Mechanical Fitter (Pneumatics)- Nottingham
£17 p/h (LTD/Umb) Outside IR35
Or £13 - £14 p/h (PAYE)
3 Month rolling contract
You will be responsible for:
- Work from engineering drawings
- Working with other members of engineering team to complete the mechanical assembly
- Using a range of hands tool (you don’t need your own) to assemble machines and structures
- Tapping, bolting, trunking, bolting
- Setting up Pneumatics – Valves, pipes (SMC/Festo)
- Expected to know how to pipe the Schematic
- Using measuring equipment and inspecting your own work
- Jigs and fixture assembly
- Maintain records or work
What are the client looking for in a candidate:
- Mechanical Fitting / Assembly experience
- Able to read and work from engineering drawings, Schematics, and BOMs
- Understand and experience of setting up pneumatic systems
- Use of hand tools to assemble and bolt together mechanical parts
- IT literate
