Rates: £20.00p/h - £22.00p/h (Limited co./Umbrella/PAYE)

I am working with a key client in Warrington who are looking for a Mechanical Assembly Fitter for a minimum 3-month contract, with the opportunity for that to be extended. You will be involved in the fitting and dissembling of gearboxes and other associated equipment - working to tight tolerances from complex engineering drawings and meeting deadlines.
As a skilled Mechanical Fitter, you will require to conduct the following duties:
v Ability to read complex mechanical engineering drawings typically general arrangements and section views
v Dismantle and assembling of power transmission equipment, primarily industrial gearboxes
v Some welding required
v Operating overhead cranes & jib/hoists
v Create reports in order to aid with re-assembly
The successful Mechanical Fitter will need to have the following attributes:
v Ability to work under pressure & to tight tolerances
v Must have Rigging and Lifting certificate
v Experience within mechanical engineering in manufacturing & industrial backgrounds
v Strong communication skills, with a keen eye for Health, Safety and Quality
v You will be apprentice trained with a mechanical engineering background or NVQ Level 3 Engineering
v Flexible for possible travel in the future to assist with installation
