The Company
Our client is giving you the chance, as a mechanical bias maintenance engineer, to work for a company that operates in the FMCG/chemical industry. As an electrical maintenance engineer, you will have to work on a state-of-the-art site that is going to be seeing investment levels of up to 50m in the coming years!
The Role
As a mechanical maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting both planned maintenance while also responding to breakdowns
- Fault finding on electrical components within a control panel and reading electrical schematics
- Carrying out basic mechanical work on components including pumps, pipes, valves, gearboxes and conveyors
- Managing your own reliability projects
Requirements
As an mechanical maintenance engineer, our client requires:
- You to have an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in electrical or multi skilled engineering.
- Comfortable fault finding electrically and swapping out different mechanical components
- Previous background in a manufacturing environment
