Role: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Salary£44,000 - 48,000 OTE = £50,000+

Overtime Rate: 1.5x

Location:  Birmingham - Walsall

Shift pattern: Monday – Thursday (Permanent Nights) 9PM-7AM

About the Role:

As a Mechanically Biased Engineer, you'll bring your extensive experience in manufacturing or factory environments to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will have a minimum level 3 qualification in an Engineering discipline and a strong understanding of health and safety best practices.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Minimum level 3 in an Engineering discipline. HNC or HND qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Experience: Hands-on experience in diagnostics of hydraulics, pneumatic, and drive chain fault finding, bearing fitting/alignment, and familiarity with EHS processes.
  • Skills: Excellent communication (both written and verbal), strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and physically fit to handle the demands of the job.
  • Desirable Skills: Apprentice training, experience in heavy industry manufacturing, knowledge of cutting & grinding regulations, arc & mig welding/basic fabrication, and electrical control systems.
