The Company
Our client specialises in the manufacturing of various building products for the construction market. With numerous sites across the UK, they are a market leader within the building industry and have a high turnover of over £400 million. They are planning to upgrade old and new machinery, improve production and renovate the site facilities over the next 5 years, meaning now is a fantastic time to join this company, especially if you are a mechanical maintenance engineer who’s looking for stable and long term employment.
The Role
The mechanical maintenance engineer will be responsible for all of the mechanical duties on site. This includes: reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, fault finding (using drawings) welding and fabrication.
Mechanical components you will need to be familiar with are:
hydraulics, pneumatics, rollers, belts, bearings, gearboxes, chains.
The Candidate
To be successful in your application as a mechanical maintenance engineer, you must have the following:
- Recognised Level 3 Mechanical Qualification
- Exxperience welding/fabricating
- Happy to work within a heavy industrial environment
- Be commutable to Coleshill
- Happy to work Panama days and nights
