Our client is an internationally recognised manufacturer and are suppliers to high integrity industries such as aerospace and O&G. With the company going through a period of restructuring and the production site moving to a new location in Batley an opportunity has arisen for multi skilled maintenance engineer to join the team. The role of the multi skilled maintenance engineer will involve the following

  • Fault find and repair on a wide range of large process machinery
  • PPM work and reactive maintenance
  • Working on a wide range of mechanical and electrical faults – 70% Mechanical, 30% Electrical
  • Lone working at times
  • 3 month rolling contract

The mechanical site fitter will need the following skills

  • Apprentice trained electrical (C&G time served/NVQ L3 etc.)
  • Electrically qualified as high risk (CompEx)
  • Experience of working in a plant process manufacturing/FMCG environment
  • 18th edition would a benefit
  • Good work ethic and motivated
  • Able to work as part of a team
