Our client is an internationally recognised manufacturer and are suppliers to high integrity industries such as aerospace and O&G. With the company going through a period of restructuring and the production site moving to a new location in Batley an opportunity has arisen for multi skilled maintenance engineer to join the team. The role of the multi skilled maintenance engineer will involve the following
- Fault find and repair on a wide range of large process machinery
- PPM work and reactive maintenance
- Working on a wide range of mechanical and electrical faults – 70% Mechanical, 30% Electrical
- Lone working at times
- 3 month rolling contract
The mechanical site fitter will need the following skills
- Apprentice trained electrical (C&G time served/NVQ L3 etc.)
- Electrically qualified as high risk (CompEx)
- Experience of working in a plant process manufacturing/FMCG environment
- 18th edition would a benefit
- Good work ethic and motivated
- Able to work as part of a team
