Role – Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location – Leeds
Salary - £35,774 - £38,000 (OTE £45-48K)

My client is a multi-million-pound FMCG manufacturer based in Leeds West Yorkshire supplying in to the major retailers within food and beverages. This is a great opportunity for an experienced maintenance engineer with a good level of multi skilled backgrounds within a manufacturing FMCG background. This company are keen to train and develop their engineers and turn them in to industry experts.
This position will suit a maintenance engineer who enjoys a challenge and wants to help improve maintenance efficiency to increase profits and at the same taking advantage of continuous training programmes and career developments.
Key responsibilities for the maintenance engineer:
- Reactive and planned maintenance on; Injection moulding, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, robots and much more
- Upgrade of new automated plant equipment
- Identify opportunities for new technology/automation
- Maintain a high standard of record keeping of all repairs and services
- Dismantle, inspect, and overhaul equipment as required by preventative maintenance
- Develop knowledge of electronics and programming of programmable logic controllers
Requirements of the maintenance engineer:
- NVQ level 3 qualified electrically
- Injection moulding experience his highly desirable
- Health and Safety conscious
- Carried out plant upgrade
- Good level of mechanical fault finds and repairs
- Servicing TPM performance
