The Company:
ATA Recruitment are working with a global manufacturing business with multiple plants in the UK. The site in Batley has a wide variety of complex machinery and equipment and the company has invested on new plant, machinery upgrades and automation.
ATA have already recruited 3 engineers for them this year and they are looking to add to the maintenance team with an additional multi-skilled maintenance engineer.
The Role:
- The multi-skilled maintenance engineer will be responsible for conducting planned and reactive maintenance activities across the plant
- The role will involve mechanical or electrical fault finding depending on your bias.
- Mechanically the site has a lot of pumps, pipework and valves
- Electrically you are looking at control panels, invertors, servo drives, relays, and PLC’s
Required Experience:
- The Multi-skilled maintenance engineer can be mechanical or electrical with an NVQ 3
- You must have experience maintaining industrial machinery on a manufacturing plant
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to learn new skills will be really important
