The Company:
ATA are working with a global manufacturing business with multiple plants in the UK. The Site in West Yorkshire is one of their flagship manufacturing plants and they have invested heavily in new machinery, equipment, and automation.
They have a settled engineering team and due to a retirement are looking for an additional Multi-skilled maintenance engineer.
The Role:
- The multi-skilled maintenance engineer will conduct planned and reactive maintenance across the site.
- Mechanical and electrical maintenance of process and packaging machinery
- Electrically the work involves working on 3 phase systems, AC/DC drives, motors, invertors, and PLC controlled equipment
- Mechanically you will be working on pumps, pipework, valves, silo’s, tanks, conveyors
- You will also get involved in projects to improve the reliability of machinery and engineer out repetitive faults
Required Experience:
- The multi-skilled maintenance engineer will be a NVQ 3 qualified electrical engineer
- You must have experience of maintenance within a manufacturing plant
- You will also be a strong problem solver who enjoys thinking on their feet
