Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer FMCG

Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: commutable from Chester, Wrexham, Deeside, Ellesmere Port.

Salary: £50k-£55K DOE + Benefits

Shifts: Monday to Friday (Days and Nights) No weekends


Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? Our client, a leading name in the FMCG industry, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team and help keep production running smoothly.

The Role

  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on a wide range of FMCG equipment
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults quickly and effectively
  • Work alongside production teams to minimise downtime and optimise performance
  • Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety standards
  • Time-served Maintenance Engineer (electrical/mechanical bias considered)
  • Experience within FMCG, Food, Packaging, or other high-volume manufacturing
  • Strong fault-finding skills across PLCs, conveyors, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics etc.
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a can-do attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
