Location: Manchester
Salary: £49,000+
Shifts: 2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off

A leading and innovative manufacturing business is looking for a proactive, multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their high-performing engineering team. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring machinery and equipment run reliably and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance across a range of production and auxiliary equipment.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults quickly and accurately.

Execute repairs, improvements, and modifications to enhance equipment performance and reliability.

Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.

Maintain accurate maintenance logs and ensure all documentation is up to date.

Adhere to all site safety policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing environment.

Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding capability.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

Highly competent in problem-solving with a proactive, hands-on approach.

NVQ Level 3 (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent qualification is required.
