Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – FMCG
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 DOE
Shifts: Monday–Friday, Days Only with an early finish every Friday
About the Role:
We’re supporting a market-leading FMCG manufacturer as they look to add an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to their high-performing engineering team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, keeping production lines running efficiently and ensuring consistent output.
If you have strong experience maintaining high-speed packaging or processing equipment within food, drink, or FMCG operations and you enjoy fault-finding, problem-solving, and driving improvements we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance across high-speed production and packaging machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults promptly to keep downtime to a minimum.
• Deliver engineering improvements to enhance line performance, reliability, and OEE.
• Work closely with production teams to support continuous improvement and ensure smooth daily operation.
• Maintain accurate engineering and compliance documentation.
• Uphold the highest standards of safety at all times.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Proven background as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skill set with solid fault-finding capability.
• Confident reading engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
