Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Manchester
Salary: £38K-£40K D.O.E
Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri Days Only, Early Finish On A Friday

This is an opportunity to join a well-established multinational manufacturing business producing bespoke products for industrial applications. Their Manchester site features modern, state-of-the-art technology, and is a world class manufacturing facility, due to continued investment and increasing demand, they are looking to strengthen their engineering team.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the site. This is a varied position combining reactive maintenance, planned maintenance, and continuous improvement work.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out both reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
- Maintaining and improving a range of production equipment
- Supporting ongoing projects and process improvements
- Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime
- Ensuring all equipment is safe, compliant, and operating efficiently
- Keeping accurate maintenance records
The Candidate
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
