Our client is a large, multi-site UK business, manufacturing construction products, as part of a large acquisitional company. The site that is requiring this vacancy, manufactures paving blocks, for driveways, car parks, etc.. The company’s current aim is to become number one in the market throughout Europe. There is now a requirement for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the site. The Role of Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will involve the following:
- Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance
- PPM’s – When maintenance software is being utilised and working
- Reactive work
- Project work
- Installation work
- Faults examples – belt tears, fluid leaks, ceased bearings, broken seals, issues with sensors/gearbox fails and more.
- 80% Mechanical, 20% Electrical
- 3 Shifts – 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6pm
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will need the following:
- Electrical qualification
- Multi-skilled – Mechanical biased but must have experience with electrical maintenance too.
- PLC Fault-Finding would be advantageous
