Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £36-43k plus overtime and production bonus

I am working with one of the UKs largest food manufacturers who are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their busy production site in North Yorkshire. My client are extremely well established and are an award winning manufacturer within the Food industry. They have multiple sites up and down the UK and are once again, looking to expand their engineering team due to increased growth in their market share

Candidate Requirements:
Multi Skilled Maintenance engineer should have the following:
- Apprentice trained or qualification Level 3 minimum
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment ideally food.
- A methodical mind set, with the ability to problem solve and adapt with short notice.
- The ability to work within a proactive nature.
- Have a passion for engineering
About the role
As Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing breakdown cover and completing planned preventive maintenance on a busy production site. You will be responsible for maintaining the production machinery including; flow wrappers, bagging machines, multi heads, thermo forming, packaging, conveyors, multi vacs and many more
You will have the responsibility of keeping breakdown time to a minimum, improving machine efficiency and working in conjunction with the groups LEAN and continuous improvement plans.
Further responsibilities include;
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Electrical and mechanical PPM and reactive maintenance
- Electrical installation & project work.
- Compliance and health and safety.
