Our client’s site in Cambridgeshire has received investment in the region of 30million pound, is home to cutting edge technology and is the first of its type in the UK, giving maintenance engineers a unique opportunity to work on equipment not seen anywhere else in the country. The plant is managed by a supportive engineering manager who with over 20 years in the industry, knows the market like the back of its hand, giving engineers a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop.
They are now looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
About the role
As a multiskilled engineer you will work within a large team to ensure the safe and effective maintenance of all plant machinery.
- PPM
- Reacting to breakdowns & remedial repair work
- Completing project work
- Fault finding
- Continuous improvement and root cause analyses
About you
To be considered for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer position with the business, you can be either electrical or mechanical biased and have experience from any industry.
You should have the following:
- Previous experience working as a maintenance engineer within a factory environment.
- Experience working within manufacturing would be beneficial.
- Experience with adhering to safe lock off and tag of procedures.
- Recognised qualification (BTEC, NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, HND).
- Our client will also consider candidates if you are recently qualified and have just finished your apprenticeship.
