Panel Wireman/ Electrical Fitter

£19 per hour (Ltd/Umb) Role is Outside of IR35
Overtime paid at x1.5 and x2
6 month rolling contract
This business is a global leader in helping companies design, manufacture and install bespoke chemical dosing systems. They work with globally recognised clients all across the world in a range of industries. They have over 100-year experience of innovation and industry firsts, market-leading expertise, and unmatched customer service. They are now looking to hire a Panel Wirer for immediate start.
The Electrical Fitter/Panel Wiremen will be responsible for the following.
- You will be working from a set of schematic and layout drawings.
- You will be building panels from scratch and drilling, tapping the back plates and putting in trunking.
- Your role will involve putting in electrical components such as circuit breakers, fuses, PLCs, power supplies and motors.
- You will be wiring all panels whereby you will be partaking in crimping, soldering, terminating and stripping down the wires.
- You will be getting involved in the testing of the panels and potentially going out on to site to install and commission the panels.
The candidate must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:
- Experience of panel wiring and building panels from scratch.
- Be able to read and work from schematics and general engineering drawings.
- Have an electrical qualification.
- Machine Wiring experience
