Control Panel Wireman– Peterborough

£20+ p/h (Depending on exprience & qualification.

Ltd/Umbrella (The role is outside of IR35) 

6-month contract rolling. Stable work Plenty of hours

50 hours minimum available. 

Immediate start

This business is a specialist manufacturer of high precision machinery. As well as working with globally recognised clients this client has had steady turnovers for many years. Due to high demand and lots of work. They are now looking to expand their team and require 3 Panel Wireman to join them on a long-term contract.

The Panel Wirer will be responsible for the following.

- The role will involve:

  • Working from schematics and layout drawings.
  • Drilling/tapping and some basic mechanical work.
  • Inserting components – breakers, drives, invertors.
  • Wiring up the panels from a set of schematics.

The candidate must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:

  • Experience of Panel building
  • Be able to read and work from schematics and general engineering drawings.
  • Must have Have an electrical qualification.
  • Site experience with ECS CARD would be beneficial
