I am currently recruiting for a key client within industrial engineering who design and manufacturing process mechanical equipment. They require a picker packer to join their team for an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick parts and components according to job specifications and packing lists
- Safely pack bespoke mechanical equipment using appropriate materials and methods
- Ensure all items are correctly labelled, documented, and prepared for dispatch
- Work closely with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to meet deadlines
- Always adhere to health and safety regulations and company procedures
For this role you will have the following attributes:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (preferably within engineering)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Comfortable working with technical packing instructions
- Physically fit and able to lift and move equipment safely
- Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems
