The Role
My client is looking for an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead their production team and ensure smooth, efficient, and safe manufacturing operations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high production standards, achieving output targets, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement on site.
Key Responsibilities of a Production Manager
- Manage daily production operations to meet volume, quality, and cost targets.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of supervisors and operators.
- Drive adherence to safety, hygiene, and quality standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO, etc.).
- Work closely with Planning, Maintenance, and Quality teams to optimize production schedules and minimize downtime.
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor KPIs and use data to identify and address performance gaps.
- Manage resource planning, training, and performance evaluations within the production team.
About You
- Proven experience in a Production Management role within FMCG, food, or beverage manufacturing.
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
- Excellent understanding of production processes, quality systems, and lean principles.
- Results-driven, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
