Project Manager

Location: Hybrid – Oxfordshire & UK Project Sites
Rate: £500 per day (Outside IR35)
Contract: 6-month initial contract
Start: ASAP

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver large-scale projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to lead high-value, complex programmes with major end customers.

You’ll be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle—from initial planning and stakeholder engagement through to delivery and site implementation. The role requires strong leadership, financial control, and the ability to bring together teams and contractors to achieve successful project outcomes.

What Our Client is Looking For:

  • Proven track record as a Project Manager within automation, intralogistics, or related industries
  • Experience managing large, complex projects involving material handling, robotics, or industrial systems
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate across all levels
  • Expertise in budget and schedule management, delivering projects on time and to scope
  • Excellent leadership, reporting, and decision-making abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of automation projects from initiation to completion
  • Oversee multiple work packages, ensuring milestones are achieved
  • Provide effective leadership, motivating and guiding cross-functional teams
  • Maintain strong alignment with suppliers, contractors, and senior stakeholders
  • Produce clear project reporting for programme leadership
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

Requirements:

  • Project Management certification (Prince2 or equivalent)
  • Valid CSCS Card or alternatives
  • Solid background in automation, logistics, civils, or similar technical industries (e.g., industrial automation, energy, oil & gas)
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems in high-pressure environments
  • Additional project management or technical accreditations advantageous
