Project Planner – Process Manufacturer

£300 - £350 per day (Umbrella / PAYE) – based in South Derbyshire

Contract Length - 3 months rolling, potentially up to 12 months work at least

This globally recognised business has continued to grow over the last 12 months and demand for their product is higher than ever before.  Demand is as high as ever and this means that delivering high quality product to their customers on time and to budget is integral to their busines. As a result, this company are looking to recruit an Interim Project Planner that has the capability to ensure each project is managed effectively and kept on track for the targeted delivery date. If you are a Project Planner with a good amount of MS Project experience, please apply for this role immediately.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Creating project plans for several projects varying in complexity and size
  • Using MS Projects to create the project plans
  • Track the progress of each project and the labour cost associated with each of the projects
  • Liaising with all the departments within the organisation to ensure that projects are delivered on time
  • Working with the procurement team to make sure materials are delivered to the factory at the right time
  • Communication with the project team and making them aware of any difficulties that have arisen with the project

The candidate must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:

  • Experienced user of MS Projects
  • Project planning within a manufacturing environment, ideally worked for a company which has multiple stages within the manufacturing process
  • Capable of planning for specific demands using a methodical approach
  • Excellent communicator that is able to deal with a variety of stakeholders
