** Senior Electrical Engineer (E-plan) **
3-month initial contract / Outside IR35 / Limited Co. suitable

Rates: circa £45.00 - £50.00p/h DOE

I am recruiting for a key client in West Yorkshire, who specialise in the design and manufacturer of special purpose automated machinery into fast paced FMCG, medical and high-end technology industries. They are now recruiting for an exciting contract role for a Senior Electrical Engineer for initially three months, with a year’s project scope moving forward.
For the position of Senior Electrical Engineer, you will require to conduct the following daily duties:
- Designing electrical drawings, 3D models, GA’s, panels, wiring, drives, and schematics for complex machinery & robotics design and build project
- Utilising E-Plan electrical design software
- Ensuring the work of Electrical Design Engineers are to project requirements
- Working from concept, through to completed designs
- Attending design reviews & kick off meetings where required
- Work in conjunction with internal engineering departments and project plans
- Supporting manufacturing and engineering departments through project lifecycle
- Technical support regarding electrical engineering requirements
The successful Senior Electrical Engineer will need to have the following attributes:
- E-plan (& pro-panel) design software experience
- Strong project engineering experience
- technical support to build & commissioning phase
- Ability to interpret complex specifications and electrical schematics, with a keen eye for problem solving
- Electrical engineering background into applications including machinery/SPM, automation, robotics, high-end technology, materials handling equipment etc.
- Hands on experience within engineering manufacture would be an additional benefit
- A team player, a strong communicator at all levels, working within complex project team environment, and strives for excellence
