ATA are exclusively working with a leading manufacturer of material handling solutions, for over 40 years our client has been a market leader in conveyor systems, grit capture and water waste systems. This Swedish owned business has seen a 20% per year growth over the last 5 years and have offices worldwide including Sweden, Netherlands, Australia, and the USA.

Currently the UK base is looking to hire a Service & Installation Co-ordinator to work closely with their dynamic team in Oxfordshire, the UK site generate an annual turnover of over £20 million and have 1000’s of machinery over the UK purchased by clients, a significant part of this business turnover is due to their parts and after care service which deliver over £2 million in revenue per year.

This is a great opportunity for an individual who likes a varied and exciting role that blends projects and Co-ordination.  

The Role:

As a Service & Installation Co-ordinator, you will have a key role to provide and implement your expertise on various projects, you will be working on multiple client orders co-ordinating with various departments to ensure successful delivery and installation.

The Service & Installation Co-ordinator’s key responsibility will be to:

  • Liaise with the sales department to understand client requirements.
  • Place orders with the internal manufacturing department regarding spare parts required, working with the technical specification given by the client.
  • Organise installation dates with the client.
  • Provide full scope of the installation to the client which may include the hiring of special equipment such as forklifts, scaffolding, and cranes.
  • Complete on-line risk assessment forms prior to site installation.
  • Complete order reports on completed installations.  

The Candidate:

To be successful in your application for the Service & Installation Co-ordinator role you will need an:

  • Engineering qualification.
  • Previous experience in service or installation (desirable)
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to use MS office packages and Excell.
