Patch – UK + Ireland
Salary - £28.6K + OT (OTE £40K)
Hours – Mon – Friday
The Company
Our Client is a special purpose machinery manufacturer generating £billion annual sales, supplying machinery to customers nationally and internationally. With their own dedicated design, manufacturing, and service divisions, they provide a total turnkey solution, to their customers and because of recent growth they are now expanding both in the UK and overseas.
Our client has a solid reputation within the UK and has been expanding globally into a number of countries, carrying out projects across Europe, Asia and North America, with sites in over 80 countries. The business is very keen on sustainability and because of this have won numerous awards for their efforts in being a climate aware business.
As part of their growth, they are looking to bolster the UK Field Service team, therefore they are now in the market for an experienced engineer with a bias towards electrical engineering, with a proven track record in either service or maintenance.
The Role
The Service Engineer will be responsible for attending routine services of the customer machines. The routine service would include oil and filter changes, electrical safety checks, hydraulic changes and calibration checks.
As part of the role there is an element of staying away up to a week or more, depending on how many machines a customer has.
Although the role will not have a focus on breakdowns, the engineer would still be required to perform continuity checks with a Multimeter and read electrical drawings to perform electrical checks.
The Candidate:
To be successful within this role:
• Full UK Driving License
• A recognised Electrical Qualification
• Must have worked in Plastic Industry
