ATA Recruitment are working with an engineering firm specialising in the design, development, manufacture of sales equipment within the distribution sector. They have facilities across the globe employing over 9000 staff. They are recruiting for an experienced maintenance engineer at their site in Leeds to assist with the day-to-day smooth running’s of the maintenance department.
As the Maintenance Engineer, I require the below:
- A recognised Apprenticeship or equivalent such as City and Guilds/BTEC
- Excellent fault-finding skills
- Proactive with a methodical mindset
- Experience of working within a fast-paced environment his highly desirable but not essential
Duties of the Maintenance Engineer:
- Corrective maintenance – working on equipment such as; belt conveyors, storage systems, shuttles and lifts and much more
- Carry out effective repairs to machinery and ensure minimal downtime is achieved
- Ensure all safety protocol is carried out correctly
- Report all safety issues to the line manager
- Maintain good service and support to ensure customer satisfaction
