Site Mechanical Fitter - Immediate start
Teesside location
4-5 month contract
Rate: £20p/h Limited or Umbrella (Outside IR35)
Our Client
I am working with a key client who are a heavy plant engineering and construction company, based out Yorkshire. We are recruiting for Mechanical Fitters on a key customer site for a minimum of a four-month contract, to assist on the upgrade of key capital project in Teesside.
Duties & Responsibilities:
v Working on an array of equipment such as gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, drives and motors etc, and including new walkways, gantries and hand railing etc
v Liaise with other teams and key stakeholders
v Strong technical understanding to ensure mechanical specifications are met
v Report any snagging issues or problems to Site Supervisor
v Ability to work professionally on site at clients’ premises, being a key representation
The successful candidate:
v Strong communication skills, with a keen eye for Health, Safety and Quality
v Experience in heavy industry, working with chain blocks etc
v Site safety passport would be beneficial
v Ability to travel or be commutable to Teesside
v Outside IR35 contract
